Dungarvan (10 miles) for the start of the Waterford Greenway walk/cycle trail, Youghal 9 miles and the location is close to the Ring Gaeltacht, the Blackwater River Valley, Lismore Castle Gardens and Heritage Centre and Dromana "Gate" - the Hindu-gate lodge near Villierstown, built in the 19th century.
