This beautiful converted creamery, which sleeps 8, lies at the foot of the Ballyhoura Mountains 5 minutes walk from the picturesque village of Kilfinane in Co. Limerick. The house dates back to the 1890s and has been carefully restored in recent years and equipped to a very high standard to include 3 Ensuite Bedrooms each sleeping 2 to 3 persons. Fully furnished to the highest degree the house also has a very large Kitchen, Living Room, Utility and Downstairs Bathroom. All utensils and Linen are supplied and are available on request. Heating is oil fired central heating (OFCH). The kitchen is fully furnished with cooker, fridge, microwave and all associated cooking and eating utensils. The utility room contains a condenser dryer and washing machine, essential for those returning from the large range of outdoor pursuits available in the area.
Location
Lowbridge is situated 5 minutes walk from Kilfinane Town Centre, which has a church, many shops and pubs, doctors, petrol station, and other necessities. Kilfinane is a ten minute drive from Kilmallock which is the second biggest town in county Limerick
Kilfinane is approximately 1 hour drive from Shannon International Airport and approximately a 2.5 hour drive from Dublin Airport and is situated in the heart of the Golden Vale and the Ballyhoura and Galtee Mountains.
Amenities
Lowbridge is an ideal base from which to travel north to the majestic Cliffs of Moher, the rugged Burren landscape, and on to Galway, the medieval city of Limerick where sights such as St Johns Castle await you. Travel northwest to the town of Ennis, with a history of traditional music and craic and Bunratty Castle and Folk Park or south to the Ring of Kerry.
For those who like an active outdoor lifestyle, Kilfinane is located at the foot of the Ballyhoura Mountains. The area around the village is made of hills, forests, rivers, walking and cycling tracks. The town is a haven for hill walkers who follow the path of the Ballyhoura Way.
The Ballyhoura Mountain Bike Trails, only 15 minutes away from Lowbridge, is the largest trail network of it's kind in Ireland. It comprises of 98 km of trails including forest road climbs, tight twisty singletrack with loads of ups and downs, board walk, tight turns and technical tracks. The trails range from the moderate 6 km Greenwood loop to the demanding Castlepook loop, over 50 km in length! Use of the trails is free.
The Kilfinane Outdoor Education Centre provides many activities to suit all ages and there are also activities such as the Lazy Dog Clay Pigeon Shooting Site less than 10 minutes drive. Kilfinane Hurling is also now famous as our Club Blackrock were winners of the All Ireland Junior Hurling Final 2010!
Housekeeping
A welcome pack is provided when guests arrive, including culinary necessities, and an information pack relating to the area. Linen and towels are provided. On check out the house is cleaned. During your stay a cleaning lady can be arranged with prior notice payable by the hour.
Heating
Heating can be switched to be upstairs, downstairs or just hot water for power showers etc. and is included in the rental price of the house. Electricity is charged at the end of the week.
Pets
Pets are welcome.
Outside
Large front garden with bench's, outdoor furniture. Large lawn to side of the property with a bike rack at back with water tap beside. Parking for 6 - 8 cars. Use of a BBQ can be arranged.

Terms: 50% non-refundable deposit upon booking. Full payment is due at time of booking for all reservations made within six (6) weeks of arrival. Rental rates include oil for central heating and water for domestic use; electricity is additional at 20 Euro cents per unit (payable upon departure). Rates quoted are for the house; not per person, nor per room.
Note: The week is configured Saturday to Saturday. While flexibility is contingent upon the season, every effort will be made to accommodate your request. Short stays may be accommodated so please ask!
